    Amanda Pierce

    Amanda has been with VCA since 2004 working as a Hospital Manager and then a Hospital Administrator.  She transferred to Maple Shade Animal Hospital in March 2014.  Amanda has her A.A.S. degree from Ocean County College and has completed her certification in business management, inventory management and human resources.  She regularly attends continuing education to stay abreast of new medications, techniques and procedures in the veterinary field.  Before joining VCA, Amanda was a buyer for Community Medical Center, and also owned her own restaurant.  Amanda is a member of The Presbyterian Church of Toms River and has served as a deacon.  She is a Girl Scout leader for her daughter's Junior troop in Medford.  When not working, Amanda spends her time with her husband, Brad, and children, Gabriella and Austin.  Her hobbies include traveling, dancing, scrapbooking, reading, seeing Broadway shows and shopping.  She shares her home with her pug, Princess and cat, Sasha.
