Biography

Dr. Lisa Otto grew up near Boise, Idaho playing fast pitch softball, camping, fishing, hiking, and learning to play the alto saxophone. She attained her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Idaho in 2006 (GO VANDALS!) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University in 2010 (GO COUGS!). Her professional interests include communication, veterinary leadership development, nutrition, surgery, neurology, exotic animal medicine, and celebrating the human animal bond. She shares her own special bond with two, fluffy, sweet cats. She is excited to be part of the team at VCA Manito Animal Hospital and looks forward to meeting you and your animal companion to serve both your needs.
