Shana Loomis
Biography
Dr. Shana Loomis is originally from Wisconsin. She graduated from Winona State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. Then she attended University of Wisconsin and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Before starting at MVG, Dr. Loomis worked at St. Marks Veterinary Hospital and completed an internship at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialist here in Manhattan.
Her veterinary interests include dentistry and chronic pain management. She also enjoys treating small mammals and reptiles. In her spare time she likes to explore the city, enjoys golfing, and eating at all the wonderful restaurants in the city. She currently lives in the Financial District with her cats; Ginger, Carter, and Ashes and her recently rescued black lab Benny.
