Jonathan is a huge sports fan and delights in attending Seahawks and Sounders games. Sometime in the near future he would like to get his first cat.
Kennel AssistantEmily M.
Emily joined the VCA Magnolia team as an Animal Care Assistant in January 2014. Since she was little, she new she had a passion for animals. Growing up she spent all her time outside rescuing animals and attempting to make friends with the neighborhood pets.
Emily started volunteering with animals at a local pet store when she was eleven years old and has worked with them ever since: from horse stables to doggie daycare and grooming. Emily is extremely fascinated by animals and loves each and every one of them.
On her down time she enjoys spending it with her 4 year old dachshund, Daisy. They both love hiking, camping and exploring the beautiful state we live in.
Kennel AssistantKatherine W.
Katherine is an undergraduate senior at Seattle Pacific University pursuing her life long dream of becoming a veterinarian. When she found VCA Magnolia 1 1/2 years ago she knew it was the perfect fit for her. She always looks forward to coming into work to the sound of wagging tails waiting to be fed and played with. From her home in Portland, Oregon, to her new home in Seattle, she has continued her passion for animals and the great outdoors. She is a true northwestern girl, enjoying hiking, running, and studying in local cafes. When she’s not walking the cute pups at work, she’s exploring Seattle with friends, singing in SPU’s gospel choir, or attending Bethany Community church.
Jessica received her grooming certification from Maser’s Academy of Fine Grooming and she is in the process of getting a National Mastered Groomer certification. Her love for animals has grown each and every day over the past 13 years she’s been grooming. She also has many other great experiences, including, volunteering at the Woodland Park Zoo where she was able to broaden her knowledge in handling wildlife. Jessica is filled with enthusiasm in meeting the people and furry critters of Magnolia.
