VCA Magnolia Animal Hospital

  • Kennel Assistant

    Shianne C.

Shianne has had a passion for animals ever since she can remember! She would carry around stuffed animals instead of baby dolls when she was a little girl and believed her pets were her best friends. As of today, Shianne has one Pekingese named Pikachu! He is her furry baby. Working with animals is always what she has wanted to do so she joined the VCA Magnolia team in the fall of 2014. In her free time she loves to go on adventures with Pikachu, create vegetarian recipes and make art with her friends.

  • Kennel Assistant

    Kelsey D.

Kelsey was born and raised in King County, and graduated with a B.S. in Biology from Western Washington University in 2011.  During her stay in Bellingham, she worked as an intern for the Northwest Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, and learned to love taking care of animals that needed help. After graduation, she married her husband and moved to Seattle, where she started work for Petsmart.  She knew she wanted to pursue her interest in the animal medical field, and started work as an Animal Care Assistant with the Magnolia team in July 2014.  She owns four rats and four mice, and loves their intelligent and loving personalities.  She also loves her family’s golden retriever and three cats.

  • Kennel Assistant

    Alison S.

Alison is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. A year ago, she packed up a dog, a cat, and a boyfriend for the Emerald City, where she is currently a Creative Writing graduate student and teaching assistant at the University of Washington. Having a passion for animals, she is excited to join VCA Magnolia in 2014, and care for VCA Magnolia's pets.  She looks forward to seeing wagging tails and a great team every day. Outside of her time helping out at the kennel, she enjoys writing, hiking, and painting.

Specialty Care

When your pet is facing any kind of serious illness or injury, our specialty referral hospitals will provide the compassionate and expert care your beloved pet needs.

Our goal is to make sure that when you and your pet are in need that you have access to board certified specialists who are up to date on the very latest developments in their field. In our state of the art hospitals, our specialists also have access to the most sophisticated diagnostic and treatment tools and techniques from ultrasonography and endoscopy to CAT scans and even MRI.

As part of the VCA family, we have over 83 specialty hospitals across the US and Canada which provide referral specialty care, so there may be one near you.
