Biography

Dr. Day grew up in Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. She joined MAH in 1988, where she has maintained an interest in the Human-Animal bond and in shelter medicine. She has been involved in the community, currently serving on the board of St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center. She also volunteers there, and has adopted 3 of her 4 pets, including a big, prolifically shedding dog with “issues” that she loves. She has a grown son and daughter, and enjoys her running club, gardening, doing home improvements, and working with people who love animals.
