Victoria Giampaoli
Staff Veterinarian DVM, cVMA
University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Victoria Giampaoli was born in San Francisco and raised in Marin County. Since she was 5 years old she wanted to be a veterinarian. Thankfully, her own yellow Labradors, Lady and Devi, tolerated her taking care of their "illnesses" with her plastic doctor kit and were the best first patients!

Dr. Giampaoli attended Loyola University Chicago where she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Biology, graduating with high honors in biology. Immediately after college, she moved to Champaign-Urbana where she earned her veterinary degree from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she went on to complete a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital. Prior to working at Madera, Dr. Giampaoli worked as an associate and relief veterinarian in the Bay Area. She joined Madera in September of 2017.

Dr. Giampaoli loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially moments where she witnesses the beauty of the human-animal bond. Her interest in pain control brought her to explore acupuncture, as an additional modality, to better help make her patients more comfortable. In March of 2017, she completed her training for certification in small animal veterinary medical acupuncture through Colorado State University (CuraCore).

Outside of work, Dr. Giampaoli loves traveling, photography, hiking, and attending Giants and Warriors games. She is the mom to her two orange tabbies, Tiggs and Giulio Salvatore, and dearly misses her late terrier-mix, Robbie, who has stolen a piece of her heart forever!
