I have been with VCA for 13 years. I started off at a general practitioners office, in 2000, vaccinating puppies, doing dentals, and reading ear cytologies. After doing this for 2 years, I decided it was time for a change. In 2002, I started at VRA (Veterinary Referral Associates) in the Intermediate Care Ward, as a veterinary technician. I then moved on to ER/CCU, in 2003. In 2005, I became the Technical supervisor of the ER/CCU departments. I have also been in charge of the blood bank for 10 years. We carried many products such as FFP, PRBC, Albumin and IVIG. In December 2013, I joined the SMVRC (Southern Maryland Veterinary Referral Center) as their technical supervisor until 2015. In August of 2015, I became the hospital manager of VCA MacArthur. I am very excited about being here with them. They are extremely welcoming and full of energy. There is so much to learn and some much room to grow together as a team.
