Lloyd Fiedler, DVM, Associate Veterinarian
Biography
Dr. Fiedler is a 1968 graduate from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and has been practicing small animal medicine for over 35 years. Dr. Fiedler has had a very active role in organized veterinary medicine. He has served in all elected offices of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association and was president of the association in the early 80s. He was the representative of the Dallas County VMA to the Texas Veterinary Medical Association Board of Directors and, after serving on numerous committees and holding numerous positions, was elected as President of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association in 1991. He has served Texas veterinarians at the national level as well. He served as Texas� alternate delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association for 6 years and then served for another 4 years as the senior delegate.
Dr. Fiedler has been a member of the Academy of Veterinary Practice since the early 80�s. This academy requires 50 hours a year of continuing education to ensure that all members are at the forefront of medical information and treatment.
Dr. Fiedler is married and has three children, Chris, Lori and Annie, and two wonderful grandsons. Dr. Fiedler and his wife, Dawn, live in the Rockwall area with their youngest daughter, Annie, who is very active in school and competitive cheer.
