I was born in Wichita, Kansas and moved to Texas just as soon as I could get here. I grew up in Plano and still live there with my Chihuahuas-Paris & Pinky, 2 cats-Norman & Nefertiti, and 2 Yellow Bellied Sliders (aquatic turtles). I began my career in veterinary medicine as a part time customer service representative at a nearby animal hospital while in college in 1996. I trained as a Veterinary Assistant and also worked part time at the Emergency Animal Clinic of Collin County. I have managed 3 veterinary practices for VCA in the Dallas area and in Wilmington, NC since 1998 . I joined VCA Love Field in November 2010. I am working to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM). I am a member of the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Managers Association), VPMD (Veterinary Practice Managers of Dallas), and SVBT (Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians). I am passionate about dog and cat behavior and I want your pet's visits to VCA Love Field Animal Hospital to be as comfortable as possible. I am also our Cat Champion! Outside of work I enjoy science fiction movies, reading murder and medical mysteries, and spending time with my 4 nephews and niece.
