    School: University of Texas at Dallas, BA in Psychology

    Sarah was born in Wichita, Kansas and moved to Texas just as soon as she could get here.  She grew up in Plano and still resides there with her Chihuahuas-Paris & Pinky, 2 cats-Norman & Nefertiti, and 2 Yellow Bellied Sliders (aquatic turtles).  Sarah began her career in veterinary medicine as a part time customer service representative at a nearby animal hospital while in college in 1996.  She trained as a Veterinary Assistant and also worked part time at the Emergency Animal Clinic of Collin County. She has managed 3 veterinary practices for VCA since 1998.  Sarah joined VCA Love Field in November 2010.  She is working to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM).  She is a member of the VHMA (Veterinary Hospital Managers Association), VPMD (Veterinary Practice Managers of Dallas),  and  SVBT (Society of Veterinary Behavior Technicians).  She is passionate about dog and cat behavior and wants your pet's visits to VCA Love Field Animal Hospital as comfortable as possible. She is also our Cat Champion! Outside of work Sarah enjoys science fiction movies, reading murder mysteries, and spending time with her 4 nephews and niece.
