Reed is a Long Beach native, he grew up relatively close to VCA Los Altos just down the street off Palo Verde Avenue. After attending high school in Anaheim, he attended UC Santa Barbara from 2002 to 2007, graduating with a B.A. in English. Reed returned to Long Beach in January 2009, and began working at VCA Los Altos in August 2009. He enjoys attending concerts, listening to and collecting music, craft beer, and bike commuting.
