    Megan Rock

    Megan grew up in Lakewood, CA. She always knew she wanted to work with animals.  She initially obtained a certificate as a reptile and small animal specialist at a local pet store and later on became a dog trainer.  After doing that for a few years she became more interested in the medical side of animal care and felt it would be more rewarding.   Megan has worked as a veterinary technician since 2005.  In 2010 she attended Professional Veterinary Assistant School and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2012.

    Amanda has been in the veterinary field for 22 years.  She received her veterinary technician license in 2000 from the state of California.  She has two children, two cats and two tortoises.  She loves the Los Altos area especially living by the park.

    Michelle has been a cat lover since she can remember.  Fostering kittens was only the beginning of her career.  In 2005 she decided to attend Professional Veterinary Assistant School and obtained her RVT license in 2010.  She has been working in the field since 2006. Michelle is the proud pet parent of three cats. Captain, Jack and Fiona.

    Crystal has been a cat lover since she was very young. Her career path started when she would catch feral cats, neuter them, domesticate, re-release and or would find homes for them. In 2006 she started working in the vet field as an assistant working with exotics and wild life. She has been with VCA Los Altos since January 2014. She is the proud pet parent of 3 cats ( Gibby, Matheson and Thomas), 1 Cockapoo (Camilla), 4 cockatiels and box turtle (Frankie).

    Patt Wathen

    Pat is a veterinarian assistant at VCA Los Altos.  She has been employed here for approximately 14 years and has been in the field since 1976.  Pat works mostly up front doing the check ins for the doctors, handling the vaccine clinic appointments and helping the doctors with call backs.  Pat has always loved animals and had a special interest in the medical field.  Pat has 2 dogs at home of her own.
