Gordana Alimpic, DVM, Medical Director

Dr Alimpic grew up in Belgrade, Srbia. She lived in Canada and practiced veterinary medicine there for 8 years before moving to Sarasota. She worked as Chief of Staff for 6 years at another veterinary hospital before coming to join our hospital in 2008 as our Medical Director.
Dr Alimpic enjoys spending time with her husband Sam, who is a business analyst, and her daughter Nina. She is also fortunate to have two wonderful step-children, Autumn and Meghan.
As a family, they enjoy boating every chance they get. Dr Alimpic also loves hiking, jogging, and walking her dogs.
Her dogs are: Teddy-an adorable Shiba Inu, Sugar-a beautiful Pit Bull, and Foxy-a lovable German Shepherd. Finally, her household is rounded out with Tiffany-a cuddly feline.
