Veterinary Tech School: Bel-Rea
Larissa grew up in Evergreen, Colorado and moved to Littleton, Colorado in 2004. In 2006, Larissa graduated from Artistic Beauty College as a Cosmetologist (she is still licensed). Eventually, she decided that doing hair for a living was just not for her. She hung up her shears in 2010 and decided to follow her real passion … helping animals. She started technician school at Bel -Rea and graduated in December of 2012.
Larissa currently resides in Littleton with her boyfriend and their two cats, Napolean Dynomite and Pierre. Her hobbies consist of camping, fishing, traveling and she loves spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephews! Being a vet tech is so rewarding for Larissa; it makes her feel good to know that she is alleviating any animal suffering, while improving community health and education.
Her favorite quote: "Compassion for animals is intimately associated with goodness of character, and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man." - Arthur Schopenhaur.
