Misty Plunk became part of the VCA Lindley Animal Hospital family in November of 2008. Her previous experience included working at a pet store for 3 years as well as a technician for another local animal hospital for over a year. Misty was hired at VCA Buckingham Animal Hospital in May 2008, and until recently, had worked on and off for us here at VCA Lindley, as well as part-time at TCAP, a non profit, low cost, spay/neuter organization in Denton. Her knowledge and dedication to serving our clients and doing what’s best for their furry family members has made her a great (returning) addition to our already fabulous staff!
Misty has her hands full with 2 rambunctious boys, Caleb and Cody and a new addition to the family, a beautiful little girl Kaelyn!
Veterinary AssistantBianca Cordova
Bianca is the newest addition to our family here at VCA Lindley Animal Hospital. Her love of animals, attention to detail and ability to speak Spanish make her the perfect fit for our neighborhood hospital!
Bianca shares a home here in Dallas with her 4 spunky Chihuahuas, Zuko, Katani, Kiara & Kovu! Her hobbies include: drawing, reading and looking after her 3 younger sisters!
Veterinary AssistantAmanda DeJesus
Amanda DeJesus is VCA Lindley Animal Hospital's oldest (but not "age-wise") family member. She has literally grown up at this hospital. Although hired to work in the kennel area, Amanda's versatility has been a great asset when filling the shoes in every position, from receptionist to technician, in her 15+ years here. As kennel manager, Amanda's attention to detail makes her the perfect candidate to oversee the everyday procedures necessary to keep our boarding and hospitalized guests clean, and comfortable during their stay at our "home away from home".
With a spoiled rotten Chihuahua named Trixie and an equally spoiled but adorable Shih-Tzu named Jaxon, Amanda has her hands full when she arrives home each day.
Veterinary AssistantMeghan Stephens
Meghan Stephens joined our family at VCA Lindley Animal Hospital as a part-time receptionist and kennel tech. in 2008. She brought with her over 6 years of receptionist experience in the veterinary field but her broad range of compassion and great people skills has led her in a new direction; the human side of medicine. Meghan received her RN this past summer but her enormous love of animals, has compelled her to continue working here at VCA Lindley, as well. Two wonderful Siberian Huskies, Nanuq and Kya and a Sulcata tortoise named Winnebago, own Meghan and her husband, Daniel.
