Client ServiceMeghan Stephens
Meghan Stephens joined our family at VCA Lindley Animal Hospital as a part-time receptionist and kennel tech. in 2008. She brought with her over 6 years of receptionist experience in the veterinary field but her broad range of compassion and great people skills has led her in a new direction; the human side of medicine. Meghan received her RN this past summer but her enormous love of animals, has compelled her to continue working as an "on call" employee, filling in when possible, here at VCA Lindley. Two wonderful Siberian Huskies, Nanuq and Kya and a Sulcata tortoise named Winnebago, own Meghan and her husband, Daniel.
Kathy Miller has been part of the VCA Lindley Animal Hospital family for many years. Having been a longtime familiar face here at VCA Lindley she's adored by the clients. You can be assured her smiling face is missed, while on vacation or gone for any amount of time.
Seems her lucky number is 3, or derivatives of 3... She's been married for 30+ years to her best friend, Bill. She has 3 great sons and 4 wonderful grandchildren (plus another on it's way soon!) that call her "Mia". She loves to write stories, paint and quilt, (another set of 3!)
Kathy and her husband Bill share their home in Garland with their 4-legged furry children, two Cairn Terriers named Tabitha and Toby and their newest addition, an adorable kitty named "Fleetwood" totaling 3 of course!
Lou Williford (aka "The Chihuahua Lady") is one of our part-time receptionists at VCA Lindley Animal Hospital.
To list all of her work experience would fill the whole page, so let's just say, Lou has the most colorful and interesting background of our VCA Lindley family. At any moment, she might burst out in a quirky song, with a pretty good voice too, I might add. Of course, this would be due to her "theater" background- Lou came to us with over 20 years of experience in the theater. Having spent time in L.A, New York, and theaters all over the world, you would think that taking are of pets would pale in comparison, but not for her.. she LOVES what she does now. After moving to Dallas, she worked as a receptionist for over 3 years at another local veterinary hospital, eventually coming to work for us in April of 2005. Lou has been crazy about animals all of her life, so to her, a career in the veterinary field affords her the gift of seeing pets bring so much joy into people's lives, as it does hers. Her dedication to client/patient advocacy has endeared her to many of our clients.
Lou is the mother of 4 (yes, you guessed it, Chihuahuas) Trixie, Chi Chi, Dot and Jonesie as well as a cat named Graham and a talkative bird, named Gabe.
Lou's advice: " If you don't have a furry 4-legged friend, I highly recommend it!"
