Biography

Dr Anna Joyner is the newest addition to the Lilburn Animal Hospital family. She grew up in Stone Mountain and graduated from Emory University with majors in Biology and Music. She spent four amazing years at UGA and graduated with a DVM and a major case of Bulldog Football fever. GO DAWGS!!!

Dr Joyner is also a classically trained professional cellist and soprano. In her spare time, she enjoys music, sailing, her four beautiful nieces and spending time with her furry four footed menagerie at home.

"Ever since, at age 5, I found out there was such a thing as an animal doctor, I’ve known that’s what I would be. Caring for animals is in my blood, and nothing is more fulfilling than knowing I was able to help a suffering animal feel better. Being a vet is often emotionally wearing, but I go home each night knowing I’ve made a difference in the life of a beloved pet and its family. I wouldn’t trade it for the world."
