  Fluffy, adopted from VCA Lewis in 1990, was lovingly cared for by Dr. Kanakry for many years. Not long after her passing, Stanley was rescued from the Howard County Shelter. Originally, my little guy was not in good shape but with gentle kindness and the care and attention of Drs. Kanakry and Krug, he is now a healthy young man who makes his Mom laugh every day! The entire staff at the front desk is always so friendly, Stanley enjoys flirting with the ladies at each visit :)

  i am so particular with my cats. they get the best of everything as they should. dr. myers has been so good with treatment of my tommy and now pinky. i can't say enough good things about her. my cats are my most valuable possession. she is very affectionate to them when they come to the office and is very good at treating and diagnostics too. i have been seeing her for about 7 years now and love her for her concern and care of my babies.

  New to the area, I had never taken my 5-year-old cat Connor to VCA Lewis before he came down with his first cold - ever. I was nervous, to say the least, and he was miserable. I looked up VCAs in my area and found Lewis Animal Hospital. In service, care, compassion, & professionalism they were above and beyond what you could ever hope for. Due to the long nature of his cold, I saw both Dr. Schwartz & Dr. Krug - two amazingly caring, intelligent doctors who even spoke to me on the phone answering my concerns and making sure he was alright even after our appointments. My cats have found their vet in Maryland. VCA Lewis is an exemplary vet's office in every way - from staff, to doctors, to a friendly atmosphere of caring individuals. A+.

  I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Michelle Myers and the wonderful team of people at VCA in Columbia. Dr. Myers is an extraordinary vet who has been wonderful with our pets for the last 10 years. Her love of animals was apparent the first time I saw her interact with our black lab and she has been just as great with our 2 cats. After almost dying, one of the cats has been living with kidney disease for over 5 years and she owes her life to Dr. Myers and the team at VCA. I also want to thank the exceptional staff who have been so good to my family - Pattie, Linda, Leana, Monique, Diane, Shannon and countless others. Thank you for a great experience!
