VCA Veterinary Hospital of Leon Springs

Isolation Ward

Our hospital maintains an isolation ward for the safety of all our patients.

Some illnesses, such as kennel cough, and canine parvovirus are so easily transmitted among dogs that patients who are suffering from these ailments are required to be hospitalized in our isolation ward. Our hospital maintains a completely isolated unit, located within the treatment room, which can safely house any such patients. Floor to ceiling glass panels allow the doctors and technicians to easily monitor the patients through the day, and become aware of any emergencies which may arise. The ward is spacious and accommodating for pets of all sizes, and offers a comfortable resting place for patients to be monitored and cared for.

All of our hospital technicians are fully trained in isolation procedures, and are happy to answer any of your questions.
