At our AAHA-accredited VCA Legion Road Animal Hospital we’ve helped pets live long, healthy and happy lives since 1994. We provide the best medical care for pets and the best experience for pet owners.
Our veterinarians, technicians and pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medications ensures that our patients receive the best preventive and healing care.
VCA Legion Road Animal Hospital opened in 1994. In early 2003, after a short time of being closed for construction, the Clinic reopened in a brand new facility. The new building was designed to maximize natural light, creating a soothing and comfortable environment. Vaulted ceiling spaces with skylights and a neutral color scheme reduce stress in hospitalized patients. The clinic has many client-friendly features that we hope you will enjoy: a large spacious lobby with separate seating for our canine and feline friends; hooks at the reception desk allow clients to secure their dogs on leashes while checking in or out; large spacious exam rooms with windows to allow for the comfort of you and your pet; coffee bar for your enjoyment.
The staff of VCA Legion Road Animal Hospital is very proud of our facility and gladly welcome you and your pets as part of our family. VCA Legion Road is an AAHA affiliated clinic.
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.

Hope Animal Rescue is an all-volunteer run organization. They were founded in 2013 by Cathy and Ashley Threadingham, a mother-daughter duo. Since then, they've grown tremendously and foster dogs in homes across the Triangle region.
Their mission at Hope Animal Rescue is to protect and find good homes for abandoned and neglected dogs in North Carolina and advocate for their welfare while cultivating outreach initiatives to further the bond between people and pets. They have a heart for the pups that need help the most - specifically medical needs dogs, neglected dogs, senior dogs, and dogs that are discriminated against due to breed.
