  • Liz Ruark, DVM

    -Michael Adams from Clinton, MA
    Pet Name: Xena

We took our Jack Russell Terrier to see Dr. Ruark on two occasions and were extremely pleased with her thorough examination and diagnosis and impeccable customer service skills. She takes her time to properly evaluate all issues. I didn't feel rushed like all the other veterinarians in the past. She always asks if I have any questions that she can answer. I feel my child is in good hands whenever I go to see her. I will continue to see her for all my pets.

  • Matty is doing so well

    -Deb Riley from Hubbardston, MA
    Pet Name: Matthew and Seamus

I was referred to Lancaster by my normal vet. Matty da beagle needed surgery. Matty is doing awesome now and I thank everyone at Lancaster. They treated him as if he was their own. I thank them so much that now that his brother needs help, I am calling them first.

  • Wonderful staff

    -Janet from Lancaster, MA

Our 12 year old cat needed to be put down recently and they couldn't have been nicer! He had been ill but went downhill quickly over the weekend plus our own vet was unavailable so I called on the VCA Lancaster office and they very graciously took care of the matter, making it as easy for us as possible. God bless you all.

  • Salem's Home Away from Home

    -Lisa Patnaude from Leominster, MA
    Pet Name: Salem

Pet Image I want to give a very warm thank you to everyone at VCA Lancaster Animal Hospital. My 11 year old cat, Salem, has been boarding there for approximately 5 weeks to recover and be watched after his 2 surgeries. It became a home away from home for him and he was completely happy and relaxed with everyone. I know they will miss him, especially a certain lady with a doggie named Dino who gave him extra attention and lots of love and bellyrubs. :) Salem gives all of you purrs & headbutts!

  • Scaredy Cat

    -Dawn Sivert from Clinton, MA
    Pet Name: Moose

Pet Image Our cat Moose became really stressed over the holidays with all the excitement and extra people around. He started eliminating everywhere except his litter box. He was seen by Dr. Sara Dalamangas and we were given ideas and tools to help Moose get back to himself. We immediately went home and followed the plan given us. Within 24 hours everything was back to normal. I can not thank the staff at VCA Lancaster enough. Everyone was great.

  • Saving Molli

    -Steve from Acton, MA
    Pet Name: Molli

A couple of months ago we took our 10 year old dog Molli for her annual exam.
It was suggested that we have senior blood tests done for Molli. We did and much to our dismay the tests indicated a problem with Molli's liver. It turned out to be a Liver Mass about the size of
a fist. It was recommended by Dr Liz Ruark that we take Molli to Tufts Vet Hospital in Grafton, Ma. It was determined that Molli should have surgery or she would die within a year. We decided to have the surgery, despite the risks, determining if it was us that's what we would want. The surgery was successful with Molli having a quick recovery. It was a difficult process, but in retrospect the best and only choice. We are eternally grateful for finding this problem and correcting it while it was correctable. Molli is amazingly back to being a vibrant happy dog.

  • GREAT PLACE

    -Tyler from Clinton, MA
    Pet Name: Haylee

Pet Image Today was my first time at VCA in Lancaster. I took my hound mix Haylee who is 12 weeks old. She was nervous at first but the staff and vets took great care of her. They are very caring for your pets and I would recommend this place to everyone.

  • Great staff

    -Dave from Clinton, MA

Our cat was having some problems with one of her eyes (infection). The staff at VCA Lancaster was incredibly thorough with their treatment, and even followed up with a phone call a week later to check in on the cat's status! I would highly recommend the VCA Lancaster!
