Dr. Colleen Black is a 1998 graduate of Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, located in Lafayette, Indiana. She was an associate veterinarian at Lakota Hills Animal Clinic from 1999 through 2003. Following five years of veterinary relief work, she returned to VCA Lakota Hills Animal Hospital in 2008.

Dr. Black has special interest in dermatology, internal medicine, and geriatric medicine.

When not working, her life revolves around her family which includes her husband and two daughters, pitbull mix Opie, cattle dog mix Bea, and guinea pigs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, jogging, swimming, and visiting out of town friends.
