Registered Veterinary TechnicianAndreia Stiffler
Veterinary Tech School: University of Sao Paulo, Brazil
My love for animals led me to acquire a degree as a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine, which I earned at the University of Sao Paulo in my native Brazil. Since moving to the United States in 2003 I have been working as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). I worked in Boston at a private practice for 3 years and later at the Emergency and Critical Care unit at the Massachusetts SPCA Angell Animal Hospital for 2 years. Since moving to Dallas in 2008, I have been working at VCA Lakewood.
My husband and I are parents to two boys, a three year old Eduardo, and a 7 month old, Miguel. Together we care for our three cats, Luke Skywalker (a Maine coon mix), Han Solo, and Princess Leia (a calico).
I love meeting and helping our clients at VCA Lakewood and I always enjoy caring for their wonderful pets!
Registered Veterinary TechnicianKelly Witty
Veterinary Tech School: Cedar Valley
Kelly is a Dallas native and has always been a true champion for neighborhood strays. She has provided a home, love and medical care for many over the years. She currently shares her home and her heart with two rescued Greyhounds and an abandoned Chihuahua. It was Kelly’s life-long love for all animals that prompted her to change careers after years in accounting and operations management. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Business Administration but after working many years in the corporate world, she decided to follow her heart and headed back to school at Cedar Valley.
Kelly graduated with an Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology and passed both the State and National Board exams to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).
While she attended Cedar Valley, she was an integral part of her class, serving as the President of the Vet Tech Student Association, where she organized and participated in many animal-related programs in the community. She was also voted by the Faculty, Staff and peers at Cedar Valley as Student of the Year just prior to graduation. Kelly continues to support The Greyhound Adoption League of Texas and volunteers for Animal Allies of Texas.
