Biography

Dr. Cassandra Erickson was born and raised in Plains, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. She attended Western University of Health Sciences where she attained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008. Dr. Erickson completed a 1 year internship at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico from June 2008 to June 2009. She transferred to VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital in August 2012 after working at VCA Beltline East Animal Hospital since July of 2009. Her special interests are Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, and Ultrasonography. She is married to a very supportive and caring husband. They have a wonderful daughter that keeps them very busy at home.
