Hi, ya'll. I'm Joni Dysart. I'm originally from Louisiana but I got to Dallas as soon as I could! It has always been a dream of mine to work with animals and I finally got the opportunity in June of 2012 when I started at VCA Lakewood. I have a beautiful white cat, appropriately named Lily. I consider it a job perk to be able to meet all the pets that come into our hospital. It is also a pleasure to see our clients and to work with our dedicated, caring staff.

I have been with VCA Lakewood since November of 1999. I have 2 dogs, Ashley and Whizzer, and a cat named Phoebe, who I adopted from Lakewood 9 years ago. (Here I am pictured with the Lakewood housecat, Boo)
I have been married to the same, wonderful man since 1981. We have 3 great children, 2 wonderful granddaughters, Alyssa & Brandy, and 1 awesome grandson, Anthony.
I have enjoyed working at VCA Lakewood because our management is awesome, our staff is great and the clients are the best! My love for our clients, and their pets, is the main reason I stay!
