Hello everyone! My name is Bridgette and I'm originally from Mansfield, Texas but I currently reside in McKinney. I graduated from Mansfield High School and went on to receive my Veterinary Assistant Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington after two years at TCC.

My love for animals started at a very young age. I would take home any and every animal that needed "saving," which is exactly how I end up with most of my pets.  After working as a technician at a sister hospital for three years, I found my way to Lakewood and have been with VCA for a total of 8 years!  I don't think I've ever had another job that I loved so much and found so absolutely rewarding.

I have a 3-legged pit bull I adopted from here at VCA Lakewood after a police officer saw him get hit by a car and brought him in to us.  My heart melted the moment I saw his pit-iful face.  He adjusted to his life with us very quickly! I also have a beautiful & happy 5-yr old daughter, Hailey (who is definitely following in my animal-loving foot steps!) and our green iguana named Lizzy.

In addition to my role within our hospital, I also have the honor & privilege of heading up a community service team, which is truly a passion project for me.  We have gotten to do some amazing things!  I am truly thankful for the opportunity to work with such a great group of people and the ability to help others.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            I love seeing our clients and their pets everyday, but I also love getting to meet new ones!  So, hopefully I'll see you soon!
