Dr. DeLandtsheer was born and raised in Big Bear, graduating from Big Bear High School in 1996. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis. Following veterinary school, he worked in a large, 24 hour emergency hospital where he specialized in emergency medicine, orthopedics, and soft tissue surgery.  In 2010 he was awarded a scholarship to study orthopedic surgery at the NAVC Institute.

Dr. DeLandtsheer is excited to return to Big Bear and looks forward to raising his 3 year old twins with his wife, Kim in the wonderful community of Bear Valley.
