    Lisa Dockham

    Lisa was born in Meriden Ct., however she grew up here in the Lakes Region. She graduated from Gilford High School in 1985, then went on to Plymouth State University, where she earned an associate degree in business management, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 1989.
    Lisa joined our team in 2004. She had been a client for more than 15 years. Lisa came to the practice with compassion and a lot of practical experience. She’s been dedicated to raising boxers for more than a 18 years. She is always willing to teach and educate clients.
    When Lisa is not working, you can find her outside spending time with her boxers and her little french bulldog Hazelle. Lisa was an aerobic instructor for over 15 years so she enjoys anything that has to do with exercising and just having fun with friends.

    Cara Tilton

    Cara grew up in Center Harbor, in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Upon graduation from high school, she attended the University of New Hampshire, Durham, graduating in 1996 with a BS in Zoology. Having always had a love for animals, Cara was hired at Lakes Region Veterinary Hospital in 1998 as a part time kennel assistant. Within a few months she was offered a full time receptionist position. Promotions as head receptionist, patient liaison & co-manager followed over the years. "I was unsure what direction my life would take me after college, but I always knew I wanted to be passionate about my career. Being a life-long animal lover and supporter, the veterinary field was the perfect match! I truly enjoy every aspect of my work, and couldn’t imagine a more rewarding job." Cara currently co-manages both VCA Lakes Region Veterinary Hospital in Laconia and VCA Laconia Animal Hospital in Gilford. She lives in Ashland with her husband Todd, son Jack, and three cats, Obi, Luke & Yoda.
