VCA Lake Jackson Animal Hospital

New Patients are Always Welcome

Dear Pet Parent,

Thank you for choosing us. We look forward to meeting you and your pet. Together, we'll make sure she stays healthy and happy throughout her life.

As a VCA hospital, we are a member of the largest provider of veterinary health care in the country. This gives our veterinarians access to over 200 board-certified specialists should your pet need specialized care. It gives you access to over 500 nationwide locations that offer the same level of care should your pet need attention while you're traveling, or if you happen to move within the United States.

Being a part of VCA frees our veterinarians from the administrative burden of running a pet hospital. Our veterinarians are able to spend their time doing what they love - practicing medicine. VCA veterinarians have the time to give you and your pet the personal attention you deserve.

Before your first visit, please gather any previous medical or adoption records you may have for your pet. Your VCA veterinarian needs this information to get an accurate record of your pet's medical history and to create the best treatment plan for your pet.

When you visit the hospital, please bring your pet in a carrier or on a leash. This will prevent any incidents with other animals that may also be in the lobby.

When it is time for your appointment, one of our Veterinary Technicians will escort you and your pet to an exam room where she will ask you some questions regarding your visit. Weight, temperature, and a quick check of your pet might happen at this time as well.

When the veterinarian examines your pet, she will take the time to listen and ask questions so she can understand your concerns. She will also perform a physical examination of your pet - checking his eyes, ears, and mouth and listening to his heart - and will ask you questions about his habits and activities.

We are excited about meeting you and your pet. We will always strive to provide the level of care that you both deserve.

Should you have any questions about your upcoming visit or procedure, please do not hesitate to call us.
