-Sue Ann Fecteau from Gilford, NH
Pet Name: Nifty,Buzz,Kiki

My Pets love coming here!!! They are always greeted by the receptionist then technicians, groomer etc. Both my dogs are rescues and if it was not for the good care of Dr's Katie and John Guest one of them would not be here today!!! The staff here does everything to make myself and my pets feel at home. I was sorry to see you Doctor who took care of my parrot leave, hope you'll find another soon.

The Value of Laconia Animal Hospital

-Eileen from Belmont, NH

After moving to NH several years ago and receiving a wonderful recommendation from a friend for LAH, we started bringing our 2 Golden Retrievers there and have never doubted that this is the right place for us. As our Goldens aged, the staff has been so helpful and accommodating, we could never ask for more personalized attention. Our Goldens never seemed to develop easily diagnosable conditions, and Dr. John Guest has been absolutely excellent in his referrals and diagnoses. Several specialists have commented on his reports and correspondence. The primary LAH veterinary technician, Stephanie Michaud, has been so comforting to our aging dogs and is always available for prescription refills, answering questions, and generally using all the skills that her profession teaches. The receptionists, Lisa and Billie, always have gone above and beyond in helping the dogs and me with any of our needs. Chris Baker, our groomer, kept our Goldens together to ease their bath and separation anxieties. As their legs weakened, she would modify their grooming so that they did not have to stand as long or on slippery surfaces. Cara, the office manager, played a very special role for us one day. When the time came to say good-bye to our female, Cara spoke with me during the day to ensure that when we arrived for our brave little girl's final visit, we would be alone in the hospital in a perfect setting. I sat on a blanket with her head in my lap in a loving circle with my husband, Cara, Stephanie, and Dr. Guest. I know that she was at peace seeing the familiar faces who had cared for her as the special girl that she was. A farewell like that cannot be duplicated in a large veterinary hospital. It was an intimate gathering for which I will always be grateful. Now we continue to take our male Golden to LAH, and I often stop in just to say hi because I cannot forget the empathy that was shown there. It is a place where I have laughed and I have cried, but always it is a perfect small town veterinary practice with the best care that I could ask for.
