Dr. Karen Dorairaj-Camacho was born in Malaysia while her parents were on vacation. She returned to the U.S. 4 months later and was raised in Los Angeles. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Davis and graduated from UC Davis' Veterinary School in 2000. She began her professional career with VCA and has stayed with them ever since. Dr. DC is an avid baker and although she is totally devoted to her medical career, her secret passion is to own her own bakery. She loves to create new recipes, which her hospital staff really enjoys! She lives with her husband, also a VCA Veterinarian, and her two small boys. Her baby girl, Kyla, a rescue pup, also resides with her.
