  I was looking for a vet before I purchased my mini pot belly pig. There were no vets in MD. that would see one. Then I found Dr. Herrman, that was 5 years ago. I did purchase my pig and Dr. Herrman has been her vet since she was about 3 months old. The entire staff has been wonderful whether its for a check up or emergency. I am truly satisfied with the services we've needed and that everyone just loves Bubblegum.

  Thirty Years of the Best Pet Care

  We recently faced the very difficult decision to put our dog, Emily, to sleep. She was more than just a pet, she was, after nearly 15 years, a member of our family. Dr. DeMarco and the entire staff could not have been more kind to us as we went through an extremely emotional time in our lives. From the time we walked in each member of the staff made us feel as if they understood what we were going through. I wanted to say thank you that day, but never got the chance. Today we received a sympathy card signed by the entire staff. Thank you all for caring and helping us through a very traumatic time.

  I am so lucky to have found Dr. DeMarco and the wonderful staff at VCA Animal Hospital. The night before my puppy Max was due in to get neutered the lovely ladies at VCA called me and asked if I wanted to bring Max in that night cause the weather was going to be snowy, icy, and rainy the morning of our appointment. Free of charge too! Can't tell you the last time someone went above and beyond for my safety and Max's as well. So glad I found them!

  We've never boarded our cats before. Satisfied with every other service VCA Kirkwood Animal Hospital has ever provided, we chose their boarding services. We did check other places, but none were special. But mostly, we trust VCA Kirkwood. We're so glad!The staff was as friendly as they were professional and informative! They answered ever one of the huge list questions we had. Our cats were well taken care of and looked fabulous when we picked them up. Thank you to the entire wonderful staff for taking care of our pets...and their "parents!" :)
