Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. Jones had the dream of becoming a veterinarian since she was 12 years old.

She attended Northwestern State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Scientific Inquiry in 2013. She was then awarded her doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.

Dr. Jones and her husband, Matthew, are the proud parents of two children, Camden and Noah. They also enjoy playing with their three dogs, Sneakers, Gumbo, and Nora. When not at work, she enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.
