Pet Name: Gunnar
My son had a boxer named Gunnar. This dog was loved by all of us. My son, his family, myself and everyone who met Gunnar. Gunnar became very ill and needed surgery. They did everything they could to help us work it out so that we could try to save this wonderful dog. Unfortunately that was not to be. But the staff was so caring and felt our pain as well. Everyone from the Vet to the office manager was there to support us as well as grieve with us. I could not be happier with VCA of Kent. I know that from now on they will be our animal caregivers. I will always recommend them. Thank you all at VCA. We loved Gunnar and I think that he found his way into your hearts as well. Your wonderful advice, medical care and support will always remain with us.

From the moment I called to the moment I left the clinic that crazy Sat, I was put at ease. I was prepared to leave without my long time friend of 17 yrs but it turned out it wasn't as bad as I thought. I took him to the Cat Doctor a few yrs before but the cost was too high plus I really didn't get the service I expected - being the Cat Doctor and all. At VCA I got the full explanation in layman terms before anything was done so I can decide what I could afford and provide best of care to my cat.
All the way around, VCA will be the clinic for my pet children - no one else! Thank you so much for being there, understanding, and caring for my pet as I do.

Being an animal lover my entire life, I've visited several Vet clinics over the years. Rarely have I felt compelled to write a testimonial raving about the wonderful care provided. From the initial contact all the way to the final follow up call by the Vet who examined my kitty, we were made to feel at ease and well taken care of. Services were prompt, yet never felt rushed. While waiting in the lobby (I arrived early for my initial appointment), I was able to witness how compassionate and attentive the staff were to every client who either called or walked in. Communication regarding options for care were thorough and easy to understand. Fees were discussed in advance and were very reasonable without unnecessary charges. Not once did anyone try to sell me a product or prescription my baby didn't require. Needless to say, VCA Kent has earned another regular customer!

Dr. Nichols and the entire staff are fantastic! Both of my dogs have done a great deal better on vet visits since I have started coming here. The staff are warm and very friendly and you can tell that they really care about the animals, and love their job. In particular I am a big fan of Chris at the front desk! Always very cheerful and helpful. I am moving next week but am still going to make the drive and come back to this location. Both of my dogs have had surgery here and my mind has been at ease that they are in good hands. Highly recommend!
Truly compassionate and caring.

Pet Name: TeeJay
On a frighteningly scary Saturday morning we returned to VCA Kent with our 5-1/2 year old bulldog, TeeJay. We had been in the day before for treatment that first appeared to be virus or other bug due to a recent cough he had. The next morning, though, he was in a lot of pain and we rushed him back to VCA and Dr. Vellandi, Kellie and Sunny spent an hour trying to ease his pain and figure out what course to take. They recommended we go immediately to VCA in Lynwood and made the call for us to go up there. Sadly, TeeJay did not make it, but we cannot say enough about how wonderfully loving and compassionate the team at Kent made us feel. We know TeeJay always loved seeing them for his regular visits, and this time the outcome wasn't what we wanted, but we knew he was in the best hands possible.
