Dr. Wendi Walsh is a Pacific Northwest native who grew up in Gig Harbor. She received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Washington State University and then moved to Iowa, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she returned home and completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. Dr. Walsh is Fear Free Certified and has a special interests in neurology and internal medicine. She is the hired help for two rescue cats, a spoiled terrier mix, and a pit bull whose favorite activity is sunning himself on the back of the couch like a cat.
