Dr. Rebecca Nichols grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee. She just completed an optional internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center in Lynnwood, which involved a year of training in emergency medicine, critical care, internal medicine, surgery, and neurology. Dr. Nichols is excited to join the VCA Kent family, and to start building relationships with her clients and patients. Her particular areas of interest include internal medicine, dermatology, and surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Nichols loves to explore the Pacific Northwest with her dog, Checkers, or curl up with her kitty Felix to read a good book. She also enjoys traveling, trying ethnic foods, and recently took up rock climbing.
