Receptionist SupervisorChris Fifield
Chris joined the VCA Kent family in April of 2012 as part of the reception team. He grew up in Seoul, South Korea before his family relocated to the Puget Sound area in 2002. Having moved often as part of a military family, he has an inherent love for travelling and delving into other cultures, though the Pacific Northwest has wholly become the place he calls home. After graduating from high school, he attended college in Seattle and studied abroad at the University of Sydney in Australia working toward a degree in International Relations and Political Economics. He is currently attending San Juan College to attain an AAS in Veterinary Technology and is looking forward to advancing his education and career in the veterinary field. He lives with two wonderful dogs, Bondi, a mile-a-minute female Border collie, and Blessing, a stubborn but sweet female Border collie mix.
Shalesa has been an integral part of our reception team here at VCA Kent Animal Hospital since 2012. Shalesa grew up in Enumclaw, Washington and graduated from Ashmead School of Massage in 2007. She then went on to get her level one equine massage certification the same year. A self-described "country girl through and through" when not at work, she is usually out riding her horses and is very active with her drill team, Stirrin’ Dust. Besides her 3 horses, Poncho, Colt and Becky, Shalesa shares her home with 4 cats: Monsoon (aka Lulu), Itchy, C.B. and Tank (aka Tank weenie) As if things weren’t already crazy enough, we can’t forget about her awesome dogs Baylee and Chevy.
