Doris Wu, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Biography

Dr. Doris Wu was born in Hong Kong and raised in England, United Kingdom. She obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with honors from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Scotland which is listed at the very top of the UK veterinary university league table. During her studies, she completed an externship program at VCA Kaneohe. After graduating, she obtained further training as a general practitioner before returning to VCA Kaneohe in 2006. She recently joined our team here at VCA Kapolei in August 2012.

Dr Wu is a General Practitioner with a special interest in internal medicine for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and other small exotic animals. She is currently a member of both the American and British Veterinary Association and an active committee member of the Honolulu Veterinary Society.

In her spare time, she enjoys having gatherings with her family and friends, spending quality time with her Shih Tzu Gizmo and Dachshund Max, playing the guitar, drums, and getting into the Aloha spirt by learning the ukulele. She has fallen in love with the local culture, food, and of course, weather!
