Renee Nagata, DVM, Associate Veterinarian
BiographyDr. Renee Nagata is a local girl from Waiakea High School on the Island of Hawaii. She attended the University of Hawaii and Iowa State University Veterinary School. After veterinary school, she participated in one of the most prestigious internship programs in the nation at California Animal Hospital in West Los Angeles. It was during her internship that she received special training with ultrasound and endoscopy.
Dr. Nagata is a General Practitioner with specialized interests in endoscopy and ultrasound. She has been practicing veterinary medicine at VCA Kaneohe since 1995.
Dr. Nagata is a past Secretary and Representative of the Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association. She continues to be a member of the HVMA and American Veterinary Medical Association. She has two children and two pets of her own. Tristan is a border collie mix adopted from the Hawaiian Humane Society, and Kismet, a labrador. In her spare time, her personal interests include running, fishing and sewing.
