Renee Nagata, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Renee Nagata is a local girl from Waiakea High School on the Island of Hawaii. She attended the University of Hawaii and Iowa State University Veterinary School. After veterinary school, she participated in one of the most prestigious internship programs in the nation at California Animal Hospital in West Los Angeles. It was during her internship that she received special training with ultrasound and endoscopy.

Dr. Nagata is a General Practitioner with specialized interests in endoscopy and ultrasound and offers a full range of these specialized services. She has been practicing veterinary medicine at VCA Kaneohe Animal Hospital since 1995 and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Her personal interests include running, fishing and sewing. She and her family are the proud owners of two Labrador mixes they have rescued and adopted as their own, Kismet and Bobber.
