Judy Miura
Biography
Dr. Judy Miura is a graduate of Aiea High School. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and attended veterinary school at Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine. Her preceptorships were at Northern Animal Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona, and the Animal Medical Center in New York.Dr. Miura is a General Practitioner with special interests in reproduction and endoscopy and has a certification in PennHip procedures. She has worked at VCA Kaneohe since its inception in December, 1995. Her past experience includes two years at New Lenox Animal Hospital, Illinois, and two and a half years with Kaneohe Veterinary Clinic before its purchase by VCA. Currently, Dr. Miura works full-time at the State of Hawaii Animal Quarantine Station and part-time at VCA Kaneohe.
Dr. Miura has many personal interests which include competitive horseback riding, culinary arts, pet photography and arts and crafts. She is interested in many other dog-related activities and spends most of her time painting, or with her own Shetland Sheepdogs and quarter horses.
