Crystal Force, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

DVM, Michigan State University

Dr. Crystal Force grew up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan on her parent's Arabian Horse and Polled Hereford Farm. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northern Michigan University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University; both degrees with high honors.

Dr. Force worked as an equine vet with a special interest in internal and reproductive medicine and at a mixed practice clinic for both domestic and wildlife. She then moved and spent four years in a small animal clinic in Seattle, Washington, before moving to her new home in Hawaii. She joined VCA Kaneohe in 2007 as a General Practitioner. Her interests now include feline and canine preventative health care, internal medicine and diagnostics, and behavioral medicine and therapy.

Dr. Force is a member of the American Association of Feline Practitioners, the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, and the Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement. She has completed the Certification for Bereavement Counseling Training from APLB. In her spare time, Dr. Force enjoys spending time with her friends, snorkeling, and playing with her five cats: Anika, Mischief, Boo, Kodi, and Miki. While not a native of Oahu, Dr. Force has settled here and has come to consider Oahu her home. She loves all that it has to offer in the form of its people as well as its culture, and food.
