Kevin Cummins, DVM, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Kevin Cummins attended Texas A&M University, graduating in 1982 with 2 BS’s, Animal Science. He received his DVM from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990.

Dr. Cummins has worked in the animal health field since high school, when he first worked for a Huntington, NY veterinarian. In 1990 he joined Jericho Animal Hospital and was a partner in the practice from 1998-2012. He has a special interest in rescue and providing care for service dogs. He enjoys all facets of veterinary medicine, including both surgical and medical aspects.

In his free time, Dr. Cummins enjoys spending time with his family – wife Linda, two sons, Mike and Mark, and his Granddaughter. He also likes to exercise and enjoy the Long Island Beaches. The family has two cats and a Canine Companion “Meesha” for Mark and “Keira,” an amputee rescue dog.
