  The volunteers of Animal Aid would like to give a special "thanks" to Nikki Carroll for organizing and working with all of the dogs that came in for their seasonal photograph. Each fund raising event is important in that it raises money to help in maintaining the health of our dogs and it raises awareness of shelter dogs within our communtiy. Nikki definitely went the extra mile in arranging the event and staying to make sure that it was a success.

  When other vets told us to give up because they did not know what was wrong. Their only answer was to euthanize our cat "Bob" or exploratory surgery, but even that would not ensure a diagnosis. Thankfully Dr. Rash and her staff from VCA James River Animal Hospital in Newport News, VA through extensive research and thoughtful diagnosis developed a treatment plan for "Bob" that has extended his life.
  
  We will forever be grateful to them for providing us with the opportunity to spend many more years with our beloved "Bob" and getting him back to his youthful self.

  When our funny, talkative and beloved parrot, Sidney, fell ill, we rushed him to James River Animal Hospital. Dr. Kirk and her wonderful staff were waiting for us.
