Deanna decided later in life to pursue a career to fulfill her love for animals. With that dream in mind, she went back to college and graduated with her BS in 2006 and has never regretted her decision. She enjoys being a part of animals’ lives, helping anywhere she can. Because of the unconditional love she receives from all the animals she has helped, she finds it to be a very rewarding job. While pursuing her BS, Animal Sciences & Zoology and Exotic Animals were her special interests. She graduated from Western Career College in San Leandro, California. Deanna enjoys playing with and showing her AKC registered Staffordshire Bull Terriers Cyrus and Cwen. Since returning to the Rogue Valley from California, she continues to enjoy camping, fishing, horseback riding and relaxing with her family at barbeques.

Elizabeth DeKorte joined the VCA Jackson Animal Hospital team in 2013. Elizabeth has been a great addition to our staff, she truly has the patients best interest at heart. In her spare time Elizabeth enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her three cats Yoda, Antonio, and Annalesa.

Erin Sutton has a passion for animals and a deep desire to provide exceptional care for them. Her love for our four legged companions brought her to VCA in late May of 2014. Erin's experience with animals throughout her life has allowed her to thrive here. Erin's joy for working with animals began many years ago when she trained and showed horses before becoming interested in small animal medicine. After graduating with a BA in English and Writing from Southern Oregon University, she worked at a horse ranch training young race horses and later started working for a local animal hospital. She presently enjoys the incredible sense of belonging here at VCA Jackson and appreciates the opportunity to learn something new every day. In addition to her occupation, Erin loves dancing, singing, reading, writing, rock climbing, practicing yoga and Pilates, and playing with her little dog Pippin, her pride and joy.

Carol has been in the veterinary field for over 32 years and has experienced a lot throughout those years, especially with all the technological advances in veterinary medicine. While working in Colorado, Carol had a wildlife permit and did rehabilitation for sick and injured wild animals. Carol is very interested in learning new and improved methods in the veterinary field so that she can give the best possible care to our furry friends. Outside work, Carol likes spending time with family and friends, cooking, working with wildlife and enjoying the outdoors. Carol has many of her own furry friends Ozzy, Jimmy James and Magic.
