Dr. Pettinger has worked in the veterinary field since 1996 and has been with the staff of VCA Jackson Animal Hospital since early 2007. Growing up in Southern California, Dr. Pettinger has always had a love for animals and participated in 4H and FFA throughout high school and inter-collegiate horse shows throughout college. After finishing her undergraduate studies at CSPU, Pomona, she traveled to Perth, Australia, where she completed her veterinary degree and had the opportunity to meet and work with vets and students from around the globe. Dr. Pettinger loves working with the great staff and clients at VCA Jackson Animal Hospital and building lasting relationships with both pets and owners. Her interests outside of work include dance, aerial fabric and static trapeze. She currently lives in Grants Pass with her husband Matt, 6 cats and 1 dog.
