    Natasha K.

    Natasha is originally from Grants, New Mexico, but has lived in Henderson, Nevada since she was 3 years old. Growing up she was always surrounded by the love of animals and knew that she always wanted to take care of them.

    She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at the College of Southern Nevada, and received her LVT license in 2011. She has been a part of the VCA Hualapai team since January 2012.

    She enjoys spending time with her Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix, Panini. Panini loves sun bathing and going to the park for long walks.

    Candise S.
    Veterinary Tech School: College of Southern Nevada

    Candise was born and raised right here in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at the College of Southern Nevada and received her LVT license in 2009.

    Candise has been a valued member of the VCA Hualapai team since 2010.

    Candise enjoys spending her free time working out, hiking and relaxing with her 3 dogs, Bandit, Sasha, and Duke.

    Kelsey S.

    Originally from Washington State, Kelsey started working in the veterinary filed in 2005. After some experience working in emergency, day practice, and large animal veterinary hospitals, she went to school and earned her degree in Veterinary Technology from Pierce College in June of 2011.

    Needing a change of scenery, she moved to Las Vegas, staring work at VCA Hualapai in September 2011.

    Kelsey shares her home with her two cats, Bella and Harriett. She enjoys spending her free time knitting and baking.

    Tina S.

    Tina was born and raised here in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tina decided to become a veterinary technician because of her love of animals. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in July 2011 and received her LVT license in August 2011.

    Tina has 3 dogs that she loves very much, Cupcake, Buck, and Camille. On her free time she loves to hike with her dogs in Mount Charleston or Red Rock. She also enjoys reading.

    Tina has been a wonderful part of the VCA Hualapai team since July 2011.

    Ruth W.
    Veterinary Tech School: College of Southern Nevada

    Ruth was born and raised in Cuba. She came to the United States in December 1991.

    Ruth graduated from the College of Southern Nevada from the Veterinary Technician Program  in 2007 and received her LVT license in 2010. She had 2 years of experience at another animal hospital before joining our team in March 2010.

    Ruth shares her house with her husband and her children. They also have 5 cats and 2 Chihuahuas, PeeWee and Shortie. Chihuahua's are Ruth's favorite breed, of course!


  • Veterinary Assistant

    Sophie L.

    Sophie is a Las Vegas native and graduated from Shadow Ridge High School in 2006. Sophie started working at VCA Hualapai Animal Hospital in 2008 as a Kennel Attendant. Sophie has since moved into the treatment room as a Veterinary Assistant and loves learning new things everyday as well as caring for all our patients.

    Sophie shares her home with her fiance, Bryan and her 2 dogs, Pug (you guessed it, he's a Pug), and Zoie, a Brussels Griffon.

    On her spare time, Sophie is busy planning her wedding and spending time with her family.

    Sarah M.
    Veterinary Tech School: Penn Foster

    Sarah is originally from Southern California. While growing up, everyone knew she would have a career with animals because of her love and fascination for all living things.

    Sarah moved to Las Vegas in 2000. She began working as a veterinary assistant in 2004 and has been a member of VCA Hualapai Animal Hospital's staff since 2006. She is currently in school working to get her Veterinary Technician License.

    On her days off, Sarah enjoys spending time with her Pomeranian mix, Teddy and playing her favorite sport,  ice hockey.


  • Veterinary Assistant

    Travis M.

    Travis was born in Michigan but has lived here most of his life.  He started working at VCA Hualapai as a Kennel Attendant  in 2006 and moved into the treatment room as a Veterinary Assistant.

    Travis is a Jack of All Trades and helps keep this place in running order as well as delivering exceptional care to our patients as well as amazing customer service to their owners.

    Travis had a menagerie of pets including, 3 Shih Tzus, 2 Cavalier King Charles, a Yorkshire Terrier, a Jack Russell Terrier, and a chameleon, "Sunkist".

    Travis enjoys spending his free time pet sitting and teaching sports and social skills to special needs children.
