    Veterinary Tech School: College of Southern Nevada

    Molly joined our team as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in September 2014. She is a graduate from the College of Southern Nevada’s Veterinary Technology program. Molly grew up in a house where animals outnumbered people, and cannot imagine a day without the joy of spending time with them. She has a super spotty Dalmatian named Bella, with whom she enjoys traveling the world. When not at work or wandering the globe, Molly likes to spend time with her boyfriend, paint, draw, hike, do yoga, play video games, and sew.

    Monique D.
    Veterinary Tech School: PIMA Medical Institute

    Monique was born and raised in Anaheim, California and moved to Las Vegas in 2000. She started in the veterinary field in 2008 and joined our team in May 2014. Her favorite part of the job is getting to see the puppies and kittens and being a part of their care so they can grow up to be healthy and happy adult dogs and cats. She loves working with a team that values and advocates for pets as she does. She has a special interest in dental health, and radiology and ultrasound imaging. When Monique has free time she loves to spend time with her family, sewing and make beautiful things. She shares her home with her husband and their amazing daughter, Eva. They have a cat named Pickles and a Lab Mix named Aysia.

    Lindsey M.
    Veterinary Tech School: PIMA Medical Institute

    Lindsey was born in Southern California and was raised from the age of 3 in Las Vegas. She started working in the veterinary field in 2009 and joined our team in January 2014. She takes pride in performing dental cleanings, knowing that a thorough cleaning helps pets feel better and improves their health immediately.  She takes a special interest in anesthesia and hopes to someday get her specialty certification in that area. Lindsey enjoys working with the other amazing staff members and loves that she gets to work with people who share her passion for animals and medicine. Lindsey is so kind and caring with all our patients and enjoys learning about their special traits from our clients. She has 2 Golden Retrievers, Molly and Lola, and Beans, a pitbull /boxer mix who definitely keeps her on her toes. When she's not loving on our patients or her own pets she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. She loves hiking, camping, kayaking, basketball, and cooking.

    Candise S.
    Veterinary Tech School: College of Southern Nevada

    Candise was born and raised right here in Las Vegas, Nevada. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at the College of Southern Nevada and received her LVT license in 2009.

    Candise has been a valued member of the VCA Hualapai team since 2010.

    Candise enjoys spending her free time working out, hiking and relaxing with her 3 dogs, Bandit, Sasha, and Duke.

    Tina S.
    Veterinary Tech School: PIMA Medical Institute

    Tina was born and raised here in Las Vegas, Nevada and decided to become a veterinary technician because of her love of animals. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute in July 2011 and received her LVT license in August 2011.

    Tina has 3 dogs that she loves very much, Cupcake, Buck, and Camille. In her free time she loves to hike with her dogs in Mount Charleston or Red Rock. She also enjoys reading, crossfit, running and training for marathons, and dreaming about her next trip to Disneyland.

    Tina has been a wonderful part of the VCA Hualapai team since July 2011. Her favorite part of the job is building the close relationships with our clients and their pets. She feels truly grateful that she gets to be a helping hand for the bond between pet owners and their furry family members.  Tina also take a special interest in performing dental cleanings and nursing our hospitalized patients back to health.

    Amber E.

    Amber is a Las Vegas native. She had 5+ years experience working with animals prior to joining the VCA family in November 2013 and has been a great addition to our growing team. She is currently attending Penn Foster online to obtain her Veterinary Technician License. In her free time she can be found singing her heart out on a karaoke stage or watching movies with her best furry buddy, Yami.

    Staphanie F.
    Veterinary Tech School: PIMA Medical Institute

    Staphanie was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and moved to Las Vegas in 2008. She started working in the veterinary field in 2010 and loves being able to help provide care for the sick and injured patients that need the most TLC. She also loves being able to talk to our clients and learn the unique things about their pets that make them so special. Staphanie enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their beautiful daughter. Staphanie doesn't have any four legged, furry friends at the moment but loves being able to work with them on a daily basis. She loves getting all of her puppy and kitty cuddles in during her shift and really helps comfort nervous pets with her caring and calm approach.

    Sophie L.

    Sophie is a Las Vegas native and graduated from Shadow Ridge High School in 2006. Sophie started working at VCA Hualapai Animal Hospital in 2008 as a Kennel Attendant. Sophie has since moved into the treatment room as a Veterinary Assistant and loves learning new things everyday as well as caring for all our patients.

    Sophie shares her home with her husband, Bryan and her 2 dogs, Pug (you guessed it, he's a Pug),  Zoie, a Brussels Griffon, and their Sphynx cat named Hobbs.  Sophie and her husband are expecting their first child in December, and we can't wait to meet the newest mini team member!

    Sophie enjoys reading, listening to music, spending time with her family, and is always planning her next trip to Disneyland.

    Travis M.

    Travis was born in Michigan but has lived in Las Vegas most of his life.  He started working at VCA Hualapai as a Kennel Attendant  in 2006 and moved into the treatment room as a Veterinary Assistant where he has become one of our most requested assistants by our clients. He gives special attention to each and every pet that comes through the door and really enjoys making our hospitalized patients feel safe and comfortable.

    Travis has two adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Skittles and Cody, and also a chameleon.

    Travis enjoys spending his free time pet sitting and teaching sports and social skills to special needs children.

    Amber O.
    Veterinary Tech School: College of Southern Nevada

    Amber was born and raised in Long Beach, California and moved to the lovely, land-locked Las Vegas in 2003. After a friend suggested she come to work with her at a vet's office she jumped in and hasn't looked back! She joined our team in July 2014 and has been a great addition to the team. Amber enjoys the feeling of gratification that comes from helping someone that really needs it, which is why she takes such great care of our clients and their furry family members. She loves being able to help nurse a pet back to health and see them go home healthy, and happy in the arms of their loved ones. Amber takes a special interest in the big "bully breeds" and in behavior/obedience training. Amber shares her home with her daughter and a menagerie of animals. They have two Rottweilers, two cats, water turtles, fish, and a desert tortoise. In her free time Amber enjoys watching Disney movies with her daughter, going to parks and museums, and reading.

    Liliana R.

    Liliana is a Las Vegas native. She grew up having both cats and dogs and can't imagine life without them. After working in a Doggy Day Care for 2 years, she realized she had never been more happy working with animals and decided to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine. Liliana just finished PIMA's Veterinary Assistant program and is planning on continuing on with the Veterinary Technician program to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. In her free time, Liliana enjoys traveling, photography, bowling with friends and cuddling with her pampered Miniature Pinscher, Layla, while watching movies.
