Dr Jim Burk grew up in Baton Rouge LA. He graduated form Louisiana State University in 1981. He began working for VCA in 1998 at VCA Howell Branch Animal Hospital as an Associate and them moved on to become the Medical Director. He is also Medical Director at VCA East Colonial Hospital in Orlando. He has three cats: Willie, Charley, and Toby.
