Internship - VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital

Dr. Nicole Patterson grew up in sunny South Florida. She first fell in love with animals as a young child when her father owned horses in Kentucky. Growing up she always thought she would grow up to become an equine veterinarian, but she soon found small animal practice was her calling.

Dr. Patterson joined the team at VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital as an intern in 2010 after completing Veterinary School at the University of Florida. After completing the internship Dr. Patterson stayed on staff as an Associate Veterinarian. Her special interests include surgery, wound management and reconstruction, and internal medicine.

Outside of VCA Hollywood Animal Hospital, Dr. Patterson enjoys traveling, going to the beach, Crossfit, and has recently completed her first Disney Princess half marathon (and is looking forward to many more!). She also enjoys taking her dog Roscoe to the park and spending quality time with friends and family.
