Pet Name: Maddix
I am a proud parent of a 5 year old Chihuahua named Maddix. At the age of 3 years and nine months old he started to suffer from Grand Mal Seizures. At the time I was a patient of another Vet office who had been caring for Maddix since he was 4 weeks old. However, when Maddix's condition worsened, so did their care. I decided to search for another Vet. I was recommended by a co-worker to visit VCA Hillsboro. I checked them out online, and they had a "First Time Free" coupon - so what did I have to lose! My first visit with Dr. Cunningham was different from other Vet visits. She took her time getting to know Maddix, and what he had been going through. She was very thorough with the exam, and asked a lot of questions. I really felt that she cared not only for what Maddix was going through - but what I was going through. Her staff is great - and they work as a team! I really do not know what I would have done if I hadn't found her. Though it is unfortunate we have not found the cause of his condition, with Dr. C's help, we have been able to control it and Maddix is back to his old self!!

Dr. Cunningham and the VCA saved our rescue

We have been taking our dog to Dr. Cunningham and the VCA since we adopted her over a year ago and couldn't be more happy with the service and care. When we rescued a dog that was Heartworm positive we had no doubt that the VCA is where we were going to have her treated. We are now past all the injections and our rescue is doing amazing. Dr. Cunningham went above and beyond to help our sweet girl through the very hard treatment. We are infinitely grateful for everything they have done and continue to do!
