Biography

I graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in June of 1977. I did an internship at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington from June 1977 to June of 1978. I did a residency in cardiology back at UC Davis from July 1, 1978 to May 31, 1980. I entered private practice here at Highlands Veterinary Hospital on June 1, 1980 as part of the Sacramento Animal Medical Group. I became board certified in Cardiology in 1982. I currently work three days a week seeing specialty cases in cardology and I treat cats with hyperthyroidism using radioactive Iodine 131 (I-131). I also see my favorite clients and pets that have been with me for the past 30 years.
